No need to buy any tracking software which can cost you around 10-15 USD when you can use this feature for free. Yes, you heard it right Google is providing this feature for free. Although you don't even have to install it because Google do it for you.
All you have to do is just open the Play Store for the first time and Android Device Manager gets automatically installed on your device.
Just follow the instructions step by step and enjoy this cool and free feature by Google.
- First thing you have to do is enable Android Device Manager on your android device. Then, Navigate to Settings -> Security -> Device Administrators.
- Tap on Android Device Manager and enable it if it is disabled.
- Now go to Play Store.
- Now search for the Setting option or a Gear icon on the right side.
- Now click on the Setting and then again click on Android Device Manager.
- As soon as you click on Android Device Manager, It starts finding the device associated with it.
- When the search completes it will locate your device into Google Map.
You can see Two option in the above picture,
Ring : When you click on this option it will automatically starts ringing your device even if it was in silent mode. This feature won't work if your phone is switched off.
Setup Lock & Erase : In this option you have to setup you device for Lock & Erase feature.
- Lock : It will automatically lock your device with new password so that only you can have access to it.
- Erase : It will erase all the data from your device so that nobody can ever access to your private data.
